Valentas Gružauskas
Valentas Gružauskas has graduated from the studies of applied mathematics and industrial engineering. Since 2016 started doctoral studies of management research area and specializing in computer simulations when making business decisions. Gruzauskas has been working with Netlogo, Python and R programming languages. In his work he applies “machine learning“, “deep learning“ and “agent-based modelling“ principles. The first two methods are related to the artificial intelligence algorithms application for the analysis of data dependency and market forecasting. Agent-Based Modelling is applied in computer simulations which are intended for the establishment of the way microlevel decisions are changing the macro-level environment. Gruzauskas has been creating simulations of such type considering the macro indicators of the country, enterprise processes, transportation flows based on GIS. In the last years, Gružauskas started focusing more on regional development, in particular urban planning and real estate price estimation.
